“Weak” They say. I know I’m not strong. I can’t be strong when so much has happened. I’m still breathing, doesn’t that counts? It’s not easy to keep living when you have no desire to do so, so is that not consider strenght?
Weakness is not the lack of strenght. Weakness is giving up, dying, not caring about a fuck anymore. Not trying.
And strenght doesn’t have to be something mayor. Something big. It can be those little things one do day by day. Getting up, eating, going out, talking. Those things, for someone who just doens’t care anymore, are a lot.
I don’t think someone is weak if they’re living for the sake of not ruining someone else’s happiness. To do that you have to be really strong. And not selfish. Not being selfish is a way of showing strenght.
The ones who pretend to be strong, are not. They’re weaker than the ones who lack that great sense of “strenght”. Pretending is weakness. Pretending is for the ones that can’t accept their true selves, the ones who lack the strenght to be themselves, even if they’re not the greatest thing in the world.
So yeah, I’m being called weak for living, for breathing, for giving them the happiness I do not desire anymore.
